Optional pulse test
The following tests can be used to test the effect and to evaluate the hose suitable for the two liquids:
a) Aging the assemblies filled with a water-based fluid specified in 7.4.2 in an oven at 60℃ for 120h;
b) Pulse tests are performed on the aged assemblies with an oil-based hydraulic fluid specified in ISO6803 or ISO6605 under the test conditions specified in ISO6803 or ISO6605.
For 4SP and 4SH hoses, the hose shall be able to withstand at least 400000 pulses at a maximum working pressure of 133% and a temperature of 100℃.
For type R12 hose, the hose shall be able to withstand at least 500,000 pulses at a maximum working pressure of 133% and at a temperature of 120℃.
For R13 and R15 hoses, the hose shall be able to withstand at least 500,000 pulses when the pulse pressure is 120% of the maximum working pressure and the temperature is 120℃.
There should be no leakage or other damage to the hose until the specified number of pulses is reached.
The test shall be regarded as destructive test and the sample shall be scrapped after the test.
